| Step 2: Obtain Sponsor Ad And Pride Statement Forms - These forms are used to present your Bonkers® Fund Raiser to perspective donors. All the forms are in PDF format and can be downloaded from this web page. Simply right mouse click on the links and save them to your own computer. Three different forms are available, each with a specific target donor audience in mind. Please read the description of each form before downloading. To be most successful with the Bonkers® Fund Raiser, all three forms should be made available to reach the most donors. Sponsor Form - Designed for a single contributor to get their information on the bench. This form would be used for businesses, alumni, and anyone else that contributes to your Bonkers® Fund Raiser. Pride Statement Form - Designed to be used by your members to get their names on the bench with their accomplishments. The form allows for multiple donors making it easier for individual members to reach their fund raising goal. Combined Spaces Form - Designed to allow combining of sponsor spaces for multiple people or groups of people. Examples include full team rosters, a list of club members of a particular year or event, a list of State qualifiers of a particular year, relay teams and their accomplishments. Any combination of sponsor spaces can be done. i.e. 2 spaces wide by 3 high gives six spaces for that group. That group should raise $600.00 or more for those spaces as to maintain the $100 per sponsor space minimum. |

| Step 4: Meet with all your members to explain each of the forms and their purpose. Use the picture of the bench top linked in this step to help illustrate what sponsor spaces are. Distribute at least one pride statement form to each member, stressing the fact they will get their name on the bench if they raise the minimum amount per sponsor space set in step 2. Be sure to stress the deadline date set in step 2. Let the members know that there are a limited number of spaces on each bench. If you find that your members are able to occupy 58 sponsor spaces before the deadline, then consider continuing to solicit 58 more spaces for an additional bench. Picture of the bench top - Illustrates the bench top filled with 58 sponsor spaces Keep in mind that the end caps of any Bonkers® product can raise additional funds. We suggest your organization set a minimum of $700.00 per end cap. Designate only one person to solicit the end caps to area businesses or parents of members that may own their own business. Use the photo linked below to help illustrate the opportunity. Keep in mind, there are only 2 end caps! If your organization is willing to sell the front and back panels of your Bonkers® product in order to raise even more funds, we suggest a minimum of $1,400.00 per panel. Or, do as others have and split the panels into smaller ads where the total funds raised is at least $1,400.00 per panel! Basically, anything goes, so be creative. | Step 3: Print one copy of each of the forms from your computer. Take the printed forms to a copy center and make as many copies as you need. Printing tips: If possible, print the forms using duplex printing so you can save paper - (duplex printing is printing on both sides of one sheet of paper). Printing in black and white will reduce unnecessary costs of colored ink cartridges. |
